FAQs: Here are answers to a few frequently asked questions.
What shall I wear?
Wear comfortable clothes suitable for sport, such as jogging bottoms or leggings, jeans are not ideal. Wear layers in colder weather.
We have enough life-jackets for everyone in the boat.
What shall I bring?
Please bring a drink and a snack if you might need one.
Recommendations
1) If it's sunny, please wear suntan lotion.
2) If it's raining, wear a waterproof jacket and trousers.
3) If it's cold, wear layers.
What experience or level of fitness do I need?
We are open to anyone with any level of experience, with introductions for complete beginners and coaching and training for experienced rowers. You need to be able to swim, capable of good physical exercise but being very fit is not essential, we will work to your level.
Can children under 18 join?
We can't accept anyone under 18 at the moment.
